Cabot Cabin, NH 2021 (Session 2)

This event is no longer on sale.

Monday June 28

9:00 AM  –  5:00 PM

You will know your registration is successful if you receive an email auto-confirmation soon after registration. If you do not receive this confirmation, you are not registered. Unsuccessful registrations usually happen because the registrant "clicks away" before the form is processed, or because they do not click the final "submit" at the bottom of the final page of registration.

We will meet at 9am on the first day of your session at the White Mountain Ranger Station. Our cars will stay there for the duration of the project! HistoriCorps staff will shuttle volunteers to the trailhead about 20 minutes away, and we should be on the trail by 10am. The trail to the Mt. Cabot Cabin is about 4.5 miles one-way, uphill. We should arrive by early afternoon. HistoriCorps will provide lunch and all meals thereafter. We should be back at the ranger station by 5pm on the last day of the session.

Volunteers agree to abide by HistoriCorps' COVID-19 health and safety protocols, including bringing 6+ reusable cloth face masks and work gloves.

All Volunteers are expected to follow CDC, state and local COVID-19 health and safety guidelines while traveling and while on the job site. This includes social distancing, frequent hand-washing, and masking up. We recommend volunteers choose projects in their home state or within half a day's drive to minimize the potential for COVID-19 spread. We encourage Volunteers traveling from further distances to limit their public exposure for 2 weeks prior to arriving at the project as well as upon returning home. Volunteers are required to do their own due diligence in checking local restrictions or precautions at home, the places they travel through, and at the project site.

Session(s) may be canceled with short notice due to changes in state, local, or national COVID-19 restrictions in group activities.

We look forward to working with you!
